My Rating:

World-champion rodeo star Austin McKettrick finally got bested by an angry bull. His career over, his love life a mess, the lone maverick has nowhere to go when the hospital releases him. Except back home to Blue River and the Silver Spur ranch. But his overachieving brothers won't allow this cowboy to brood in peace. They've even hired a nurse to speed along his recovery. Paige Remington's bossy brand of TLC is driving him crazy. As is her beautiful face, sexy figure and silky black hair.

Paige lost count of how many times Austin has tried to fire her. She's not going anywhere till he's healed body and heart.

And by then, her place in his life just might become permanent...

I've liked Austin and Paige from the very first book of this trilogy, and this one just made me love them even more. Austin and Paige were an item back in high school before her broke her heart. Reminisce of Tate and Libby. I'm usually totally against stories were the hero cheats on the heroine then wants a second chance, but Austin was likable enough to get past that. Fast forward ten years and now they are thrown together due to the fact that her sisters and his brothers are getting married.

The story moved along quickly and smoothly. As with Linda's other books, this one had a action side story that added to the dynamic of the overall book.
